You can file this under “stuff you wish you had thought of first.”

Teemagnet.com is a daily shirt site aggregator which combines the best one-day-shirt sites into a central location. In addition to displaying the image of the daily shirt it also tells you handy information, like where to buy, cost and how much time is left. Also, as a handy little guide they also have incorporated a shirt blog, as well as links to some great shirt sites.

Click on the header image of the site for a special treat. Don’t be surprised if it slowly drives you insane, however. It’s strangely addictive.

Star Wars Uncut

Posted By Josh Dillon
08.24.2009

This video appears as a single piece of a 472 part, user-generated recreation of the sci-fi epic, Star Wars.

With the entire movie split into 15 second clips, legions of Star Wars fans can now become a part of the legacy by contributing their own videos to make up the larger movie. The production process is already underway, and current and future video clips can be found at www.starwarsuncut.com.

When everyone’s clips have been completed the entire movie will be hemmed together to produce one gigantic piece of Star Wars lore.

Client Services; an explanation

Posted By Alupa Creative
08.19.2009

In an effort to be a little more explanatory and a little less esoteric about what we do we’ve added a list and description of our client services suites. Don’t  worry, we’re not going to get all serious on you or anything…

This newly launched section of our site not only sets the framework for future transmissions regarding all of these ideas, but also acts as an information station, where current clients and prospective clients can go to assess their needs and create a wishlist for future partnerships with Alupa Creative.

We look forward to discussing these and other fascinating services with our viewing audience in the near future.

In the meantime, we are also working on our flash portfolio, but since we’re designers we’ve gone through several versions, as we’re sure you can imagine. It’s what we do. It’s strange, but we know exactly which steps to take to represent your business and build a brand around your message, but for some reason (even though we live our message daily) putting things together for our own company can be kind of a strain.

It just goes to show that sometimes the hardest person to please is yourself.

Civil Defense Gallery

AC_civildefense_post

Ever wondered what to do in the event of an air strike on the US? In 1955? So did we.

We found this little gem at our friendly neighborhood resource for all things slightly pre-Apocalyptic, the antique mall. This, along with a dozen other equally disturbing (but amazingly informational) pamphlets were only a dollar a piece. You can’t find entertainment that good any more, we checked it out.

You can view the new gallery here.

800 lbs gorilla

AC_800lbsGorilla_post

Where does a creative 800 lbs gorilla sit? Well, that just depends on where he’s needed.

That’s just the idea behind our latest desktop. While popular culture would have you believe that the true answer is “Wherever he wants” that’s not true in this case. With our 800 lbs gorilla he can sit wherever YOU want, creatively speaking. Sure he’s intimidating, but only in that lovable creative way.

More than 70,000 advertising professionals have lost their jobs in this “Great Recession.” Lemonade is about what happens when people who were once paid to be creative in advertising are forced to be creative with their own lives.

Signs of Downtown fort worth

Posted By Josh Dillon
08.02.2009

Ac_signs_post

While visiting downtown Fort Worth, it struck me how many kitschy signs adorned the storefronts and bars along the way. With an overarching cowboy theme (it’s a cowtown), there still was room for a little variety, such that even regional chain restaurants pulled out the stops to throw up some neon.

Check out the gallery here.
