Alupa Downloads featured

The download section of our site hasn’t been updated recently due to an over-abundance of things to do outside of the realm of shameless self-promotion. However, it seems that the downloads are still kicking up web traffic, via hdw.eweb4.com/, an online desktop download location. Seems that some of the first of our desktop downloads made the list, but a few of our favorites were missing, so we’re scratching our heads.

Scott McCloud on Comics

Scott McCloud is a personal hero of mine. When I was 12 I wrote him a letter explaining how awesome he was.

He wrote me back. By hand. He’s a classy, classy guy.

Where it all began

I was introduced to Henri Matisse at age 5 while participating in one of my Grandmother’s high school art classes, which I attended during my days off from preschool.

After she presented a particular artist, the high school students were asked to produce their own work based on the style and manner of the artist discussed. I made a nice little beach scene, cut out freehand from construction paper.
