Those gel-laiden mac icons (very web 2.0 indeed) are more than just eye candy. They’ve evolved into a form of communication built on top of another layer of communication. Dock Spelling. Mike Giepert’s blog has a longer list of these gems that you should check out, and submit your own.

Spelling challenges are easier the more applications you have, and with the number of available applications rising, there should be no end to this form of mac desktop composition. Can’t wait for an index of all the available letters of the alphabet and their associated applications. This is mac design geekery at it’s best.
